DEED OF DEDICATION
Steve Leopold and Emma Lou Leopold, husband and wife, and
Eugene Hancz and Doris Hancz, husband and wife, for themselves and
their successors and assigns and any and all successors in the
interest of the below described real property, (GRANTORS), convey
and dedicate for use as public right--of-way, to the City of South
Bend, Indiana, (GRANTEE) for and in consideration of One Dollar
($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and
sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, certain Real Property
situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, more particularly described
as:
Additional 10 feet R/W West side of Locust Road
A parcel of land being a part of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 22, Township 37 North, Range 2 East,
Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, and being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Northwest
Quarter; thence South along the East line of said
Northwest Quarter, as distance of 563.88 feet to the
Northeast corner of a parcel of land conveyed to Steve
Leopold and Emma Lou Leopold and Eugene Hancz and Doris
Hancz in Deed Record Book 660, Page 151 in the Office of
the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana; thence South
56-44'-00" West along the North line of said parcel, a
distance of 23.92 feet to the West right -of way line of
Locust Road also being the place of beginning; thence
continuing South 56-44'-00" West along said North line,
a distance of 11.96 feet; thence South 0-00'-00" West
parallel with the East line of said Northwest Quarter, a
distance of 602.94 feet to the South line of said parcel
of land; thence North 90-00100" East along said South
line, distance of 10.00 feet to the West right-of-way
line of Locust Road; thence North 0--00'-00" East along
said West right-of-way line, a distance of 609.50 feet to
the place of beginning containing 6062 square feet more
or less.
GRANTORS certify under oath that no Indiana Gross Income Tax
is due or payable in respect to the transfer made by this deed.
Subject to all easements and encumbrances of record.
