ORDINANCE NO. 7069 -82
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $100,000.00 FROM THE
CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND TO
PROJECT CS 819, ARDMORE TRAIL STORM SEWERS PROJECT,
WITHIN THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING
FUND.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
As a result of the widening of Ardmore Trail and the installation
of curbs on the south side of this street it is necessary to install
storm sewers to provide proper drainage along this roadway.
Funds are now needed for the cost of engineering and construc-
tion of this improvement. These funds are available from the Cumulative
Sewer Building and Sinking Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated
and ordered set apart from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund
for the project in the amount set forth below:

Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

Dear Councilmen:
The attached is an ordinance requesting an appropriation of $100,000.00
from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund to be used for the
installation of storm sewers on Ardmore Trail. The balance in this fund
after this appropriation is $1,902,117.63.
As a result of the widening of Ardmore Trail from Sheridan to Kentucky
and the construction of curbs along the south side of this roadway it is
necessary to install storm sewers to provide for proper drainage along
Ardmore Trail.
