Road Description: Project STF 720 25 and 27 US 31 Bypass at Old Cleveland
Road (Line S-1-M) and local Service Roads 4 & 5 line LSR 4 and LSR 5.
From: Station 40+00 LT PL and RT PL Line "S-1-M"
To: Station 48+50 LT 75' and RT 135' Line "S-1-M"
AND
From: Station 48+50 Line "S-1-M"
To: The West joint of the bridge over US 31 (approximate station 48+82.5
Line "S-1-M"), the width of existing pavement and shoulders of Cleveland
Road

From: The East joint of the bridge over US 31 (approximate station 51+17.5

The above describes both old Right -of -Way of Cleveland Road and new * w
Right -of -Way for Cleveland Road and the approaches to the bridge as well as
Right -of -Way purchased for local service roads "LSR 4" and "LSR 5". The
Right -of -Way within Station 48+50 LT 75' and RT 135' Line "S-1-M" To Station
51+45 LT 105' and Station 51+80 RT 102' Line "S-1-M", shall be held as limited
access Right -of -Way for the main line of US-31. We reserve the right to use
Cleveland Road Right -of -Way and these approaches for future maintenance of the
Cleveland Road Bridge over the main line of US-31. See Exhibit A attached.
Whereas, the Department has determined that the above described section of
road no longer meets the criteria established by Indiana Code 8-23-4-2 for a
highway in the state system but that the highway continues to serve a useful
purpose, said Department wishes to transfer to the highway system of the City
of South Bend.
Therefore, the City of South Bend does hereby agree to accept conveyance
of and assume jurisdiction over the above described section of road as set
forth in I.C. 8-23-4-12, subject to the following condition(s) if any:
