After careful review of the three proposals submitted to our Request for Qualifications and interviews with all candidates, Ameresco was chosen by the committee. Ameresco offers competitive pricing on solar with deep expertise in municipal projects and renewable energy. Ameresco implements transparent quality control procedures throughout their projects. The review committee believes Ameresco to be the best candidate for completing the desired solar project. I ask that the Board of Public Works ratify the recommendation of the review committee and authorize the Department of Public Works to negotiate an agreement with Ameresco to develop the energy savings project scope and subsequently execute the Project Development Agreement.
