AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $20,000.00 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD
AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT R & S 48 -3, IRONWOOD FROM INWOOD
TO NORTH OF RIDGEDALE, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET
In order to bring Ironwood Road up to the standards necessary to
meet existing traffic needs and to provide a safer roadway for this
congested area, certain improvements have been proposed.
Additional funds are now needed for the right -of -way costs for
these improvements. These funds are available from the Local Road and
Street Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated and
set apart out of the Local Road and Street Fund for the project in the
amount set forth below:

Ridgedale
Total $ 20,000.00
Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

Attached is an ordinance requesting $20,000.00 from the Local Road and
Street Fund to Project R &S 48 -3, Ironwood Road from Inwood to Ridgedale.
This project entails the widening of Ironwood and installation of storm
sewers. Funds are now needed to pay for right -of -way costs for these
improvements. The balance in the Local Road and Street Fund after the
proposed appropriation is $192,138.72.
