AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,050,000 FROM THE
FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS
GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FOR 1981 SALARY AND FRINGE
BENEFIT INCREASES TO BE ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE
DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Whereas, the 1981 budget as approved did not include salary
and fringe benefit increases which were granted January 1, 1981. Funds are
now needed in the personnel accounts. Funds are now available in the
General Revenue Sharing Fund.
SECTION I. The sum of $1,050,000.00 is hereby appropriated
for the year 1981 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly known as
the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be
Administered by the Department of Administration and Finance and will be
distributed as set forth below:
