AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $40,000.00 FROM
THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING
FUND TO PROJECT CS 818, REPAIR OF BRIDGEWORK
OVER BOWMAN CREEK, WITHIN THE CUMULATIVE
SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In the best interest of public health and safety it is necessary
to repair bridge railings, sidewalks, bridgedecks, etc. at Dale, Dubail
and Main over Bowman Creek. Funds are now needed for the cost of construc-
tion for these improvements. These funds are available from the Cumulative
Sewer Building and Sinking Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated
and ordered set apart from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund
for the project in the amount set forth below:

Section II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from

The attached is an ordinance requesting an appropriation of $40,000.00
from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for the cost of repairs
made to bridgework over Bowman Creek. In the best interest of public safety
it is necessary to repair the bridge railings, sidewalks and bridgedecks
at Dale Street, Dubail and Miami over Bowman Creek. The balance in the
Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund after approval of this appro-
priation is $2,002,117.63.
Your favorable consideration on the proposed ordinance is requested. If
