Total Base Bid $627,700.00 $898,812.00 (Incomplete) In reviewing the required documentation, I recommend rejecting the lowest bid for the project. Hoekstra Roofing Company failed to submit a complete bid form, did not meet WBE goal requirement, and the responsible bidder ordinance requirement, specifically due to failure to provide evidence of training. Slatile Roofing and Sheet Metal Co. was able to meet the responsible bidder ordinance requirements and MWBE goal requirement. For this reason, I recommend award of the bid to, Slatile Roofing Sheet Metal Co., Inc., in the amount of $898,812.00.
