AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $270,000.00 FROM
THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND TO
PROJECT NO. 8206, JEFFERSON STREET PARKING
GARAGE REPAIRS, WITHIN THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to restore and rehabilitate the functional and
structural integrity of the Jefferson Street Parking Garage owned by
the City of South Bend, certain improvements have been proposed.
Funds are now needed for the repair costs associated with
these improvements. These funds are available from the Cumulative
Capital Improvement Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated
and ordered set apart out of the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund
for the improvements in the amount set forth below:

SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect

The attached is an ordinance requesting an appropriation of
$270,000.00 from the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund to pay
for repair costs associated with the rehabilitation of the Jefferson
Street Parking Garage. The improvements include repair and installa-
tion of lights and electrical system, concrete repairs and repairs
to the deck ceiling. The balance in the Cumulative Capital Improvement
Fund after this proposed appropriation is $58,430.21.
Your favorable consideration on the proposed ordinance is requested.
