AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $65,574.00
FROM THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
FUND FOR CAPITAL REPAIRS WITHIN THE
DEPARTMENT
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Since it is necessary to rebuild Snorkel 1 in
order to keep it operable, and since only $123,158.00 is
available from the General Obligation Bond proceeds out of
$189,158.00 needed, additional monies are needed to complete
this capital project. These funds are now available within
the Emergency Medical Services Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. The following amount is hereby ap-
propriated wit�iin tFe Emergency Medical Services Fund as
described below:

363.0 Equipment Repair $ 65,574.00
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ro�fter its passage by the Common Council
and approval by the Mayor.

Attached is a proposed ordinance to appropriate $65,574.00
from the EMS Cumulative Capital Fund to complete funding
for the reconditioning of the Fire Department Snorkel. The
bid price for this work is $189,158.00. Of this, $123,584.00
is to be funded from the General Obligation Bond.
