GAMMON Approved and signed by Clerk ORDINANCE NO. 20 IS-- 1Y Q r AN ORDINANCE CREATING A SPECIAL FUND TO BE KNOWN AS THE COP FUND. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: The Common Council finds a need for establishing among the accounts of the City administered by the Controller a special fund designated for the purpose of receiving public and private money to be used for purchase of equipment and other items required for implementation and administration of the Community Oriented Police Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THAT: SECTION I: There is hereby established among the accounts of the City administered by the Controller a special fund to be known as the COP fund. SECTION II: The COP Fund may receive from public and private sources money to be used for purchase of equipment and other items required for implementation and administration of the Community Oriented Police Program. SECTION III: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
