AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $3,950.00 FROM THE
DISCOVERY HALL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, FOR RENTAL OF STORAGE SPACE FOR THE
STUDEBAKER COLLECTION TO BE ADMINISTERED BY
THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Funds are needed to provide storage area for the portion of
the Studebaker Collection which is not currently on display. The funds are
available in the Discovery Hall Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $3,950.00 is hereby appropriated from
the Discovery Hall Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana. This appropriation
is to be administered by the Department of Administration and Finance and will
be distributed as set forth below:

SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

This appropriation is to pay rent at the Discovery Hall
Annex located on Elwood Ave. This facility provides temporary storage
for vehicles that are not on display as well as the Studebaker archives
and other Discovery Hall material.
