Dear Members of the Council:
This bill would restore the Other
the Cumulative Capital Improvement
by the Common Council last August.

Fund to the level approved
In passing the final 1982 budget for the Cumulative Capital
Improvement Fund, the State Board of Tax Commissioners did
not take into consideration the revenue that would be raised
from the South Bend Community School Corporation and St. Joseph
County. Without those revenues the fund would be $75,666.00
short of the budget that the Council passed, and this is the
reason that it was cut by this amount.
In that these revenues will be available, we are asking that
the Council restore the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund
to its original amount through this additional appropriation.
If there are any questions please contact John Leszczynski,
Sherrie Petz or myself. Thank you very much.
