GAMMON Clerk ORDINANCE NO. 7o3D -Pa AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $75,666.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR OTHER MATERIALS. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Whereas, funds are available from miscellaneous revenues in the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund and Other Materials are needed to do necessary repairs and maintenance. SECTION I. The sum of $75,666.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1982 from the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund and will be distributed as set forth below within the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION 255.0 Other Materials AMOUNT $75,666.00 SECTION II. PARENT, Mayor COUNTY -CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46601 February 3, 1982 Members of the Common Council 4th Floor County -City Building South Bend, Indiana 46601 Dear Members of the Council: This bill would restore the Other the Cumulative Capital Improvement by the Common Council last August. 219/284 -9742 Materials account within Fund to the level approved In passing the final 1982 budget for the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund, the State Board of Tax Commissioners did not take into consideration the revenue that would be raised from the South Bend Community School Corporation and St. Joseph County. Without those revenues the fund would be $75,666.00 short of the budget that the Council passed, and this is the reason that it was cut by this amount. In that these revenues will be available, we are asking that the Council restore the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund to its original amount through this additional appropriation.
