A SPECIAL PROCLAMATION AWARDED BY SOUTH BEND COMMON COUNCIL
THIRD DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE SHARON MCBRIDE
C►, Rafael Morton is a proud graduate of LaSalle High School in South Bend, Indiana,
and earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Advertising from the Indiana
University — Bloomington School of Business; and
Wiesesi, he currently serve as a Senior Marketing and Sales Consultant at WSBT-TV,
demonstrating expertise and leadership in marketing and sales; and
Nattird, he have shown exceptional dedication to public service as the President of the St.
Joseph County Council, and previously served as Chairman of the Budget and
Administration Committee and the Criminal Justice/Human Services Committee; and
OXimasi, his commitment to the community is evident through his roles as a board member
of St. Joseph County Community Corrections, REAL Services, and the Early Intervention
Advisory Board, and as a member of the St. Joseph County Airport Authority Board; and
he has contributed actively to the South Bend Downtown Rotary Club and has
previously served on the boards of the YMCA of Michiana, Downtown South Bend Inc.,
and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for the Juvenile Justice Center; and
Of‘Assi, Rafael Morton's leadership extends to serving as the former Chairman of the Board
of Commissioners for the South Bend Housing Authority, and as Vice President Pro
Tempore of the St. Joseph County Council;
9fi , through a lifetime of professional excellence and dedicated community service, he
has made significant contributions to the betterment of South Bend and St. Joseph County,
inspiring others through his leadership and advocacy.
