RELEASE OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the Civil City of South Bend, by and through its
Board of Public Works, has obtained an easement for sewage and
drainage for the tract or parcel of land situated in the County of
St. Joseph, State of Indiana, briefly described as follows:

A part of Area 1 as shown on the recorded replat of
Belleville Unit "D", an addition to the City of South
Bend, Indiana, more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Area 1; thence
South along the West line of Area 1 a distance of 181.63
feet to the true point of beginning; thence East parallel
with the South line of said Area 1 a distance of twelve
(12) feet; thence North parallel with the West line of
(12) feet; thence West
said Area 1 a distance of twelve
parallel with the South line of said Area 1 a distance of
twelve (12) feet to the West line of said Area l; thence
South along the West line a distance of twelve (12) feet
to the point of beginning.
Containing 144 square feet in South Bend, Portage
Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana.
WHEREAS, a copy of said easement was recorded in the Office
of the Recorder of St. Joseph County on February 10, 1983 and bears
Document Number 8302207; and
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend no longer has any need for
the easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Civil City of South
Bend, by and through its Board of Public Works, hereby releases and
terminates all rights and interest in said easement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the members of the Board of Public Works
of the City of South Bend, Indiana, hereunto set their hands and
