AN ORDINANCE REDUCING ORDINANCE NO. 7117 -821
JEFFERSON STREET PARKING GARAGE REPAIRS,
FROM $270,000.00 TO $230,000.00.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Since the actual amount needed for the Jefferson
Street Parking Garage repairs is less than what was origi-
nally anticipated, all of the funds originally appropriated
are not needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I: That Ordinance No. 7117 -82 appropriating
$270,000.00 for the repair of the Jefferson Street Parking
Garage from the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund be
reduced to $230,000.00.
SECTION II: That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage by the Common
Council and approval by the Mayor.

Attached is an ordinance requesting the reduction in appropriations
for Ordinance No. 7117 -82 for Jefferson Street Parking Garage Repairs
from $270,000.00 to $230,000.00 -from the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund.
Due to low bid submissions for the repair work to the Jefferson
Street Parking Structure, all the funds appropriated are not
needed.
