Conveys and warrants to THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT
of ST. JOSEPH County in the State of INDIANA
for and in consideration of TEN DOLLARS ( $10.00 ) AND OTHER VALUABLE CONSIDERATION
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the following Real Estate in ST. JOSEPH County
in the State of Indiana, to wit:
Situate in St. Joseph County, in the State of Indiana:
A part of Bank Out Lot Numbered One Hundred Thirty (130) of the
Third recorded Plat of Out Lots of Town, now City of South Bend,
platted by the State Bank of Indiana, described as follows: ¢

Beginning at the intersection of the East line of Harrison Street < O Op
and the Southerly line of Lincoln Way West, formerly Michigan
Avenue, in said City at a stake set 203 feet Southeasterly from U

of said Out Lot No. 130; thence Northwesterly along the Southerly
line of Lincoln Way West, 96.9 feet to the Easterly line of Cottage
Grove Avenue, as now established across said Out Lot; thence South
along the East line of Cottage Grove Avenue 47 feet to the South
line of said Bank Out Lot No. 130; thence North 83 3/4 degrees
East along the Southerly line of said Out Lot, 85.2 feet to the
place of beginning.
Restrictions:
South Bend Heritage Foundation agrees to undertake the defense through
appeal of the City, at the City's request, for any and all suits, ad-
ministrative proceedings and other actions, damages and costs of every
type and description to which the City may be subjected by reason of
injury to or the death of any person or damage to the property of
another or by the reason of the violation of any law or ordinance
arising as the result of the Condition of the Property.
The City shall, on this date, submit an appeal to the State Board of
Tax Commissioners for elimination of any property taxes outstanding
this date against the property.
Grantors certify under oath that no Indiana gross income tax is.
due or payable in .respect to the transfer made by this aeed.
