SUBJECT: DEDICATION OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY/IVY ROAD
Attached is a document from the University of Notre Dame
dedicating the West half of Ivy Road as public right-of-way. Please
put this on the agenda for :filing with the Board of Works at the
February 11th meeting. After its been received by the Board, it can be
recorded.
You will recall that the East half of Ivy Road was dedicated
as public right-of-way several months ago. Please call to John
Leszczynski's attention the fact that the entire road is public
right-of-way.

DEDICATION OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
The University of Notre Dame Du Lac of St. Joseph County,
State of Indiana, being the owner of the hereinafter described real
estate within the City of South Bend, Indiana, hereby grants, dedicates
and conveys to the City of South Bend, in perpetuity, for itself and
the general public, for all purposes including use as a public
right-of-way a parcel of land located between State Road 23 and Edison
Road in the Northeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 37 North, Range 3
East, commonly known as the West One -Half of Ivy Road and described as
follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northeast
1/4 of Section 6, Township 37 North, Range 3 East,
Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana;
thence East a distance of 192.15 feet to the true
point of beginning; thence due South 0 degrees 20
minutes West a distance of 367.79 feet to the
centerline of South Bend Avenue (State Road 23);
thence South 53 degrees 57 minutes West along the
centerline of South Bend Avenue (State Road 23) a
distance of 37.11 feet; thence North 0 degrees 20
minutes East a distance of 389.63 feet plus or
minus to a point in the North line of said Section
6; thence East along the North line of said Section
6 a distance of 30 feet to the true point of
beginning, EXCEPTING therefrom all that part lying
in Edison Road, also EXCEPTING therefrom all that
part lying in Indiana State Highway 23 (State Road
23), containing approximately 2.1 Acres and coming
off of the East end of a parcel of land, presently
owned by the University of Notre Dame Du Lac.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned has set his hand and seal
