EASEMENT
FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)
and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which
fs hereby acknowledged, the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana,
=' (hereinafter known as Grantor) hereby grants to AIRCO Industrial
Gasses, Inc. (hereinafter known as Grantee) a permanent easement

for the purpose of installing, maintaining and repairing
r,= electrical lines in, upon, along and over a strip of land in St.
Joseph County, Indiana, described as follows:
A permanent easement being the north 4 feet
of the south 30 feet of the north half (1/2)
of the southeast quarter (1/4) of Section
16 Township north, range 2 east in the City
of South Bend, Indiana; and being limited in
length as follows: from east to west,
commencing - 175 feet west of the east line
of said section 16, thence west a distance
of 1500 feet to the point of termination.
The Grantee will indemnify and save the Grantor harmless from and
against any and all damage, injuries, losses, claims demands or
costs proximately caused by default, culpability or negligence of
the Grantee in the use of the property encompassed by this
easement.
The undersigned Grantor covenants that it has good faith
right to grant and convey the easement herein.
This easement shall be binding on the heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns of the Grantee and upon the Grantor,
its successors and assigns.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor has duly executed this
instrument this 13&-day of 1984.
