Dear Members of the Council:
November 3, 1982 219/284 -9742
This bill would create three (3) new positions to be included in the
1983 salary ordinance.
The Clerk Terminal Operator in the Police Department and the Systems
Specialist in the Water Works are needed because of a change in job
responsibilities due to the new computer systems in both departments.
There will be corresponding decreases in other positions within these
departments and there will be no increase in the budgets already approved
for 1983. The Archivist /Researcher is proposed for Discovery Hall for
a one (1) year period as a result of a grant from the Institute of
Museum Services.
If you need additional information on any of these positions, please
contact Mike vance, Dan Thompson, Gust Saros or me at any time.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
h E. Kernan
