ORDINANCE NO. 7, S-
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $62,000.00 FROM THE
CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND TO
PROJECT CS 824, SOUTH BEND AVENUE SEWER PROJECT,
WITHIN THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING
FUND.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In the best interest of public health and safety, it is
necessary to install a sanitary sewer system on South Bend Avenue.
Funds are now needed for the construction costs for these
improvements. These funds are available from the Cumulative Sewer
Building and Sinking Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated
and ordered set apart from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking
Fund for the project in the amount set forth below:
PROJECT NO. DESCRIPTION AMOUNT
824 South Bend Avenue Sewer $62,000.00
Total Project $62,000.00
Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the
Mayor.

The attached is a proposed ordinance requesting an appropriation of
$62,000.00 from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund to be
used for installation of a Sanitary Sewer on South Bend Avenue.
The balance in this fund after this appropriation is $829,645.70.
