The Human Rights Commission has a contract with the U. S. Equal
Employment Opportunity Commission which expires September 30,
1983. A review of the budget disclosed that the telephone line
item account will have a deficit at the end of the appropriation
period. This is due primarily to several unexpectedly high bills.
In order to correct this situation, it will be necessary to trans-
fer funds from an account where there is a surplus to the telephone
account. The attached Ordinance will provide for the transfer.
Your favorable consideration of the Ordinance is appreciated.
