AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $22,503 AMONG VARIOUS
ACCOUNTS, ALL ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE DIVISION
OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
Certain program needs and changes have developed since the
passage of the existing Community Development Block Grant Funds
(FY -81 and FY -82). Some 1981 activities are reaching the end of their
contract period with funds remaining while other activities require
additional funds in order to be completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. The sum of $22,503 is hereby transferred for the
program year July 7, 1982 between various accounts set forth below:

The ordinance submitted for your consideration would
reduce funds previously appropriated for 1981 activities. Project
number CD81 -104 is no longer an operational program and has funds
available. Project numbers CD81 -203 and CD81 -205 have been completed
and the contracts have expired with balances remaining.
Project numbers CD82 -112.2 and CD82 -202 require the
additional funds in this ordinance to cover their activities through
3/31/83. Project number CD82 -503 represents funding necessary until
1983 funds will be available on 4/1/83.
