It would make the Zoning and Vacation Committee a standing committee of the Council. This committee has been operating as a special committee of the Council for a substantial period of time. However in light of the fact that all vacations of public land must come before the Council for final review, the importance of having a permanent standing committee is highlighted. I seek your support of this Bill. Sincerely, Beverlie J.
