" z ; e1-4u AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $65,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND FOR REPAIR OF ISLAND PARK FOR 1983 TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT In order to continue using Island Park, major repairs are required. Monies are availabe within the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund for this project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That the sum of $65,000.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1983 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Engineering Department and will be distributed as set forth below: ACCOUNT 399.0 PROGRAM FA 236 ISLAND PARK REPAIRS DESCRIPTION AMOUNT Other Contractuals $ 65,000.00 Total $ 65,000.00 SECTION II. Plans and specifications have been prepared for the work. The construction work entails taking measures to stop the wall movement and repair of the walkways.
