AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $100,000.00 FROM THE
FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND COMMONLY REFERRED
TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND FOR
OPERATING COSTS OF THE PARKING GARAGES OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
Additional funds are needed in 1983 to maintain the
operations of the City of South Bend Parking Garages. Monies are
availabe in the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the sum of $100,000.00 is hereby
appropriated for the year 1983 from the Federal Assistance Grant
Fund commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.
This appropriation is to be administered by the Parking Garages
Department and will be distributed as set forth below:

SECTION II. That this Ordinance shall be in full force

Dear Council Members:
This bill would provide additional funds
to supplement the operating budget for the
parking garages in 1983.
Current revenues from parking fees and
parking fines have not been sufficient to
cover the operating expenses. Therefore
additonal monies are needed to maintain opera-
tions of the parking garages.
