THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH, that the AMERICAN NATIONAL
BANK AND TRUST COMPANY OF SOUTH BEND, an Indiana corporation,
hereby grants, bargains, sells, conveys, and warrants to the
City of South Bend, Indiana, a municipal corporation, its suc-
cessors and assigns, forever, for and in consideration of the
sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consider-
ation, the receipt whereof being hereby acknowledged, a right-
of-way and easement with the right, privilege and authority to
said Grantee, its successors and assigns, to use the described
property as an alley, to permit ingress and egress between an
alley currently located on the real estate and Greene Street,
over the following described real estate:
"A strip of land twenty (20) feet in width,
taken off of the east side of Lot Numbered
35, Westchester First Unit to the City of
South Bend, Indiana."
These presents shall be binding on and inure to the
benefit of the assigns, successors and representatives of the
AMERICAN NATIONAL BANK AND TRUST COMPANY OF SOUTH BEND and the
City of South Bend, Indiana, a municipal corporation.

Before me, the undersigned, a Notary Public, in and for
and a resident of said County and State, personally appeared George
Schramm and Richard W. Miller, known to me to be respectively the
President and Cashier and Secretary to the Board of Directors of
American National Bank and Trust Company of South Bend, who stated
under oath that their execution of the foregoing Deed of Easement
was done by virtue of authority vested in them by action of the
Board of Directors of said corporation, and further stated under
oath that no Gross Income Tax is due to the State of Indiana as a
result of this conveyance and who, on behalf of the American
National Bank and Trust Company of South Bend, acknowledged the
execution of the foregoing Deed of Easement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name
