Redevelopment Commission Recommendation to Appoint
Gavin Ferlic called his Community Investment Committee to order to consider recommendations for
appointment to three different Boards.
The first was an appointment to the Urban Enterprise Association. Councilmember Schey nominated
Amy Lee; but she did not meet the required criteria. Consequently the application period was re- opened.
Muhammed Shabazz was nominated for the Human Rights Commission by Gavin Ferlic. Valerie Schey
seconded an all affirmed.
Appointment to the Redevelopment Commission continued.
Under miscellaneous the Committee suggested more be done for Jersey Mikes Sub Shop recently forced
out of the College Football Hall of Fame.
There being no further business to come before the committee at this time, Chairperson Gavin Ferlic,
adjourned the meeting at 5:22 p.m.
