SUBJECT: Budget Request – SBCC Traffic Impact Study

authorization of the expenditure of such funds shall be void and of no effect.
PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Budget request of $14,000 for additional analysis requested by INDOT related to the
South Bend Chocolate Dinosaur Museum Traffic Impact Study.
SPECIFICS: Draft traffic impact study for the Indiana Dinosaur Museum indicated that a traffic signal is warranted
at the intersection of US20 and Olive. INDOT is requesting a signal warrant analysis based on actual traffic counts
now that the museum is open, as well as additional analysis of how a signal will impact the interchange to the
East. This budget request will cover the cost of this additional analysis.
