AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
1983 SALARY ORDINANCE NO.7080 -82
FIXING THE MAXIMUM SALARY FOR
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR IN THE
DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION
AND FINANCE.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to coordinate a Volunteer program for
the City of South Bend, it is necessary to have a Volunteer
Coordinator. This will be a part -time position and will begin
after July 1, 1983.
Funds for this position are available through
General Revenue Sharing and a grant from the Junior League.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the position of Volunteer
Coordinator be included in the amended 1983 salary ordinance
under the Department of Administration and Finance.
SECTION II. That the maximum salary for the
Volunteer Coordinator be ,6,000 for the year 1983.
SECTION III. That this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common
Council and approval by the Mayor.
