Committee Chair Sheila Niezgodski called to order the Personnel & Finance Committee meeting
at 3:30 p.m.
Committee Chair Niezgodski introduced citizen members Angela Smith and Ross Deal.
Bill No. 24-18 -Resolution Appointing an Agent/Negotiator to Represent the Common
Council and Addressing the City Advisory Negotioating Team for 2024 Teamster Labor
Negotiations
Committee Chair Niezgodski stated that Bill No . 24-18 names the members of the 2024 Teamster
negotiating team: Bob Palmer, Sheila Niezgodski, Troy Warner, and Karen White.
Councilmember Dr. Oliver Davis asked how far into negotiations the City is.
Attorney Bob Palmer stated that the negotiations currently remain in preliminary stages.
Committee Chair Niezgodski held the public hearing, and no members of the public spoke.

Committee Member Tomas Morgan motioned to send Bill No. 24-18 to the Full Council with a
favorable recommendation, which was seconded by Committee Member Canneth Lee and
carried by a vote of seven (7) ayes .
