GAMMON Approved and signed by me l 19 i'3- ORDINANCE NO. 779 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $60,500 FROM THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES FUND FOR CAPITAL EQUIPMENT AND REPAIRS. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: In order to repair necessary equipment and buildings for the fire department, funds are now needed. Funds are also needed for a new ambulance. Monies are presently available in the Emergency Medical Services Fund for these repairs and equipment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That the sum of $60,500.00 be appropriated from the Emergency Medical Services Fund. This appropriation will be administered by the Fire Department and will be distributed as set forth below: ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 363.0 Equipment Repairs $11,500.00 360.0 Building & Structures Repair 14,000.00 427.0 Motor Equipment 35,000.00 $60,500.00 SECTION II. That this Ordinance shall be full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council approval by the Mayor, and approval by the State Board of Tax. The various projects outlined are much needed and,further,are capital improvements as required by the ordinance.
