AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $30,000.00 FROM THE
CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND TO
PROJECT CS 826, INLET RECONSTRUCTION, WITHIN
THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to provide improved storm water drainage, upgraded
inlets need to be constructed.
Funds are now needed for the construction costs of these improve-
ments. These funds are available from the Cumulative Sewer Building
and Sinking Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated
and ordere se apart out of the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking
Fund for the project in the amount set forth below:
Project No. Description Amount
CS 826 Inlet Reconstruction $ 30,000.00
Total Project $ 30,000.00
Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approved by the
Mayor.

Dear Councilmen:
Attached is an ordinance appropriating $30,000.00 from the Cumulative
Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for the purpose of rebuilding inlets
in various locations within the City of South Bend. In order to provide
improved storm water drainage upgraded inlets need to be constructed.
The balance in the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund after this
appropriation is $114,785.58.
