Committee Vice Chair Karen White called to order the Public Works and Property Vacation
Committee meeting at 5 :00 p.m.
Bill No. 32-24 Alley/Street Vacation 215 W. Marion Street
Angela Smith, Danch Harner and Assiociates, 1643 Commerce Drive, South Bend IN 46628 stated
that Bill No. 32-24 will vacate an alley along the enterance to the emergency department and exit
of the parking garage. Bill No. 32-24 will address safty concerns for people entering at that
location.
Committee Vice Chair White held the public hearing, and nobody spoke.
Citizen Member Piontek motioned to send Bill No. 32-24 to the Committee of the Whole with a
favorable recommendation, which was seconded by Citizen Member Littrell and carried by a vote
of five ( 5) ayes.
