Memorandum
April 25, 2013
TO: Redevelopment Commission
FROM: David Relos, Economic Resources Associate
SUBJECT: Transfer Hotel La Salle Furniture to DTSB
In 2010, the Commission approved the removal of excess furniture and a general clean out
of the Hotel La Salle. This improved the sanitary condition of the Hotel, and allows
interested parties to see the actual size of the rooms.
When the clean out occurred, certain items were not removed, including miscellaneous
dining room style chairs and benches. Because DTSB holds public events in their lobby
area, this furniture could be put to active use as seating for those events.
DTSB has agreed to accept this furniture.
Staff requests approval of Resolution No. 3136, to allow the transfer of this furniture to
DTSB.
