Committee Chair Sheila Niezgodski called to order the Public Works & Property Vacation
Committee meeting at 4:48 p.m.
Bill No. 25-22
Angela Smith noted that this is a redevelopment on Prairie A venue for redevelopment for a gas
station. A portion of the alley needs to be vacated. Mr. Robert Nichols confirmed that issues
regarding ownership of the property, mentioned in previous meetings, have been resolved. Turning
radius and truck movements to deliver the gas to the gas station have been taken into consideration.
The entire alley will likely be paved.
The floor was opened for public comments. There were no comments in favor or opposition of the
Bill.
Committee member Hamann motioned to recommend substitute Bill No. 25-22 to the Committee
of the Whole with a favorable recommendation, seconded by Citizen member Littrell, and carried
by a vote of five ( 5) ayes.

With no further business, Committee Chair Sheila Niezgodski adjourned the committee meeting
