Committee Chair Sheila Niezgodski called to order the Public Works & Property Vacation
Committee meeting at 4:24 p.m.
Bill No. 62-23-Alley/Street Vacation: East/West Street at 1101 King St. from Kessler Blvd.
As the presenter was not at the meeting, Committee Chair Niezgodski requested questions from
the Committee.
Citizen Member Littrell advised that he supports the bill as although the site is not developed to
the current standards expected for new facilities, it has been approved by various agencies. The
so lution to vacate is reasonable.
Committee Chair Niezgodski requested questions from the Council. There were none.
Committee Chair Tomas Morgan asked if the public wished to speak in favor of or against Bill
No. 62-23.
Clerk Jones advised that no one from the public wished to speak in favor of or against the bill.
Committee Member Hamann motioned to forward Bill No. 62-23 to the Committee of the Whole
without a recommendation, which was seconded by Committee Vice Chair White and carried by
a vote of five (5) ayes.
