Committee Chair Sheila Niezgodski called to order the Public Works & Property Vacation
Committee meeting at 3 :45 p.m.
Organizational Meeting
Committee Chair Niezgodski noted the need to redefine the responsibilities of members of the
Public Works and Property Vacation Committee as the new year begins.
Committee Vice-Chair Karen L. White asked if these new guidelines would be provided for
committee members.
Committee Chair Niezgodski stated that each member will receive the new paperwork.
Bill No. 52-22 -An Ordinance to Vacate Property Located at 1015 Good Place Councilmanic
District #1
The floor was open for public comments. William Crumb, 1138 Blyler Place, South Bend, IN
46616, spoke in opposition to the Bill.
Citizen Member Carl Littrell motioned to send Bill No. 52-22 to the Committee of the Whole with
no recommendation, seconded by Committee Vice-Chair White, and carried by a vote of five (5)
ayes.
