AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $41,128. FROM THE YOUTH
SERVICE BUREAU FUND FOR OPERATING FUNDS TO BE ADMIN-
ISTERED BY THE YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
WHEREAS funds are provided to the Youth Service Bureau for operating
costs covering the period of July 1, 1983 through June 30, 1984 by Social
Service Block Grant (Title XX), State of Indiana, Department of Public
Welfare, and Youth Service Bureau fundraising events. These funds are
needed in the following accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $41,128. is hereby appropriated from the Youth
Service Bureau fund as set forth below:

Attached is an ordinance appropriating $41,128. for Youth Service Bureau
programs. Sources of funds are as follows:
Title XX ------------ - -$15, 352.20
State of Indiana - - -- $12,050.80
Department of Public Welfare —$ 5,190.00
and funds raised by the Youth Service Bureau staff in the amount of $8,535•
All of the line items should be self - explanatory. We intend to use the
Furniture and Fixture account to repair a few desks and chairs and to
purchase some office furniture. The equipment category will be used to
purchase a combination of office fans and possibly a small air conditioner.
