ORDINANCE NO. 7198 -83
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING
$5,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL
ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND, COMMONLY
REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE
SHARING FOR THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
FOR 1983 TO BE ADMINISTERED BY
THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION
AND FINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to initiate the Volunteer Program
for the City of South Bend, it is necessary to fund half of a
part time coordinator and provide funds for related costs of the
program. These funds are available in the Federal Assistance
Grant Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the sum of $5,000.00 is here-
by appropriated for the year 1983 from the Federal Assistance
Grant Fund commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Fund.
This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of
Administration and Finance and will be distributed as set forth
below:
