Purpose of Request:
This budget request is for $125,000 from River East Development Area to cover expenses related
to the demolition of the former Kelly’s Pub located at 1150 East Mishawaka Avenue. The building
and its foundations will be removed, the basement backfilled, and the disturbed area seeded.

The existing asphalt parking lot (and drywells) will remain in place for the time being to support
staging and parking for the upcoming Mishawaka Avenue streetscape project.
The memorial bench in front of the building will be salvaged and stored in a Community
Investment facility.
