PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Allocate $349,000 for additional work on the Douglas Road Utility Relocation
Project.
The additional work included a new 12-inch ductile iron water main, additional replacement of water
services in conflict, an additional sanitary drop manhole, and a sanitary pipelining material change. The
Douglas Road Utility Relocation project originally included the installation of a lift station, the relocation
of a force main, and related work to complete these tasks within St. Joseph County’s project for
widening the road.
