Dear Members of the Common Council:
The Department of Code Enforcement's clean up crew has two single
axle dump trucks used for hauling trash and debris. Both trucks are
seven years old.
One of the two trucks is in poor condition and has been out of service
approximately twenty -one weeks during the last year. It is necessary
to replace this truck as soon as possible.
The cost of a new truck will be approximately $28,000.00. $15,000.00
has been appropriated from Community Development Funds toward the
purchase of the truck and an additional $13,000.00 is needed from
Federal Revenue Sharing Funds.
Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
Sincerely,
tej .,
