GAMMON Approved pp ed and signed � �� !n d �' me 19EY City Clerk ORDINANCE NO . 7 3 o3 - 9'4 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,782.00 FROM THE HIGHWAYS SAFETY FUND FOR EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: A grant from the Indiana Department of Highways has been approved for the purchase of equipment to be used for enforcement of traffic safety laws. Monies from the grant will be available and need to be appropriated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That the sum of $4,782.00 be approp- riated from the Highways Safety Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Police Department of the City of South Bend and will be distributed as set forth below: Account Description Amount 429.0 Other Equipment $4,782.00 $4,782.00 SECTION II. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
