' AUTHORIZING THE DEDICATION OF CERTAIN STREETS
ACCORDANCE

TRIAL EXPANSION PRUJECT, IND. R-56
the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment (herein
called the "Local Public Agency") has entered into a Contract for Loam
and Grant dated the 7th day of July, 1968with the United States of
America for the carrying out of an urban renewal project herein known
as the Industrial Expansion Project, Ind. A-56; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan which has been approved for said pro-
ject calls for the dedication of certain land area for the purpose of
~street right-of-way:
NOW, THEREFORE, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing
Body of the Local Public Agency hereby authurizes and directs that the
proper petition be filed and all other necessary action be taken to
effect the dedication of said right-of-way and hereby authorizes and
directs its President and Secretary to sign and execute any and all
necessary ducuments.
Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Com-
mission held August 7, 1970 in the Office of the Commission, Room 1200
County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana
46601.

DEDICATION OF STREETS
The City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, hereby
grants and dedicates streets upon real estate located in the City. of
South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, hereinafter described, for the
use of the public and for street purposes, which streets are more part-
icularly described in Exhibits A and B and attached hereto and made a
part hereof and designated as Disposition Parcel No. 3 and Disposition
Parcel No. 4 in the Disposition Plan for the Industrial Expansion Pro-
ject, Ind. R-56.
This Dedication of Streets is given subject to Redevelopment
Plan for the Industrial Expansion Area, Indiana R-56, which is incorpo-
rated herein by reference, and which is recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana, in Book 248, pages 416 thru 441
inclusive,
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said City of South Bend, Department of
Redevelopment, has caused this Dedication of Streets to be executed in
its name by Dean J. Wilhelm, its President, and its official seal to
be hereunto affixed, and attested by Fred J. Helmen, its Asst.'Secretary,
this 7th day of August, 1970.

DISPOSITION PARCEL 4
DESCRIPTION
Part of Lots 2 and 11 in the recorded plat of Raff's
First Addition, a subdivision in the northwest 1/4 of Section
14, Township 37 north, Range 2 east more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north line of Lot 2 in said
Raff's First Addition 435.70 feet easterly from the northwest
corner of Lot 12 in Raff's Second. Addition along the north line
of Lots 12 and 1 in said Raff's Second Addition and the north
line of Lots 1 and 2 in Raff's First Addition, thence southerly
410.70 feet at a right angle to the herein first described
course, thence 251.80 feet along an arc to the right with a
radius of 50 feet and whose radius point is 25 feet'east-,erly of
the beginning point of said arc and southerly 454.00 feet at a
right angle to the north line of Lot 2 in Raff's First Addition,
thence northerly 410.70 feet to the north line of Lot 2 in Ralf"s;
First Addition, thence westerly 50.00 feet along the north line
of said Lot 2 to the point of beginning including the vacated
streets and alleys and containing 28,162.square feet more or
less.
