The Board of Public Safety met in a Special Meeting at 8:07 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 with
Board President Patrick D. Cottrell and Board Members Eddie Miller and Luther Taylor present.
Board members Laura Vasquez and John Collins were absent. Also present was Board Attorney
Andrea Beachkofsky. The meeting was held in the Board Conference Room, Ste, 1308, County City
Building, 227 West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
SET HEARING AND DISCOVERY DEADLINES FOR CHARGES NO. 2013-01— THEODORE
ROBERT
Upon a motion by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mr. Miller and carried, the Board set the Hearing of
Charges No. 2013 -01 for May 10, 2013, at 8:00 a.m. in the Common Council Chambers, 4th Floor,
County City Building, 227 West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. Additionally, upon a motion
by Mr. Miller, seconded by Mr. Taylor and carried, the Board set April 12, 2013 as the deadline for
the request for discovery, and April 19, 2013 as the deadline for production of discovery, by
Attorneys DouIas Grimes and Andrea Beachkofsky.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, Mr. Cottrell declared the meeting
adjourned at 8:12 a.m.
