This indenture witnesseth that JOSEPH D. ANDERSON and MARY GRETCHEN ANDERSON,
Husband and Wife
Of St, Joseph County in the State of Indiana
Release and Quit -Claim to CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND
Of St. Joseph County in the State of Indiana
for and inconsideration of --One ($1.00) Dollar and other good and valuable consideration -
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the following Real Estate in St. Joseph County
in the State of Indiana, to wit:
Part of Lot Numbered 122 in Swygart's Second Addition to the City of
South Bend, which part is bounded by a line running as follows, viz:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot Numbered 122; thence
Southeast along the Southwesterly line of LaPorte Avenue, 66 feet;
thence Southwest 77.276 feet to an alley; thence North along the West
line of said Lot Numbered 122 to the place of beginning.
Also, a part of said Lot Numbered 122 in Swygart's Second Addition to
the City of South Bend, consisting of a strip or parcel of land 6 feet
in width bounded by a line running as follows, viz: Beginning at a
point on the Southwesterly line of LaPorte Avenue, 66 feet Southeast
from the Northwest corner of said Lot Numbered 122; running thence at
a direct right angle to said line of LaPorte Avenue approximately South-
west to the alley on the West side of said lot; thence South on said
alley to where the same intersects an extended line running parallel
with and 6 feet distant from said first boundary line; thence North-
easterly on a line parallel with said first boundary line and 6 feet
distant therefrom to the Southwesterly line of said LaPorte Avenue,
thence Northwesterly along said line of LaPorte Avenue 6 feet to the
place of beginning.
