Jefferson Boulevard Presiding: Joseph Wroblewski South Bend, Indiana 46601 President • The January 24, 1992, Special Meeting of-the Redevelopment Authority was called to order at 4:44 p.m. by its President, Joseph Wroblewski. There was a quorum present. 1. ROLL CALL 2. Members Present: Legal Counsel: Redevelopment Staff: APPROVAL OF MINUTES Mr. Joseph Wroblewski, President Mr. Andre Gammage, Vice President Mr. Donald Fewell, Secretary Ms. Jenny Pitts-Manier Mrs. Ann Kolata, Director Mrs. Cheryl Phipps, Office Manager a. Approval of Minutes of the Special Meetincr of Tuesdav, January 14, 1992. Upon a motion by Mr. Gammage, seconded by Mr. Fewell and unanimously carried, the Authority approved the Minutes of the Special Meeting of .Tuesday, January 14, 1992, 3. NEW BUSINESS a. Authority approval requested for Extension of_residential Lease with Elije Hannah Jr and Rosalind Hannah for property located in the Airport Economic Development Area. Mrs. Kolata noted that the Hannahs have asked for a 90-day extension to their lease in order to finish moving their belongings. They have moved from their residence, but have possessions remaining in the out-buildings. They also have salvage rights to the property. The staff feels that a 60-day extension, to March 30, would be no problem with our construction schedule. If feasible and still necessary at that time, we could consider an additional 30-day extension. Upon a motion by Mr. Fewell, seconded by Mr. Gammage and unanimously carried, the Authority awarded a 60-day extension to the lease with Elije Hannah, Jr., and • Rosalind Hannah for property located in the Airport Economic Development Area.. 4. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS 1990 SBCDA PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Thomas General Construction $ 1,348.00 Housing Development Corporation 2.425.20 TOTAL 1990 SBCDA PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT $ 3,773.20 AIRPORT TAXABLE BOND Mike's Fencing Unlimited, Inc. $ 527.00 TOTAL AIRPORT TAXABLE BOND $ 527.00 1991 COVELESKI REFUNDING BOND Bainbridge Bank Note Co. $ 1.517.84 TOTAL AIRPORT TAXABLE BOND $ 1,517.84 • Mrs. Kolata noted that the claim from Bainbridge Bank Note Co. is submitted again. The biggest part of their cost is in typesetting and proofreading. In addition, there were 2256 bonds printed in denominations and 2000 blank bonds delivered to the bond trustee. There was a flat fee of $600 charged and a cost of 39 cents per bond. Upon a motion by Mr. Gammage, seconded by Mr. Fewell and unanimously carried, the Authority approved claims submitted for payment January 24, 1992 . 5. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Authority, Mr. Fewell made a motion that the meeting be adjourned.
