A lot or parcel of land twenty-two (22) feet in width, North
and South, taken off of and from the entire length of the North
side of Lot Numbered twenty-three (23) as shown on the original
Plat of the Town, now City of South Bend; together with the use
of a private alley ten feet wide East and West, running North
and South across Lot Numbered 24 in said original Plat of the
Town, now City of South Bend, from Colfax Avenue to the North
line of said Lot Numbered 23, parallel with North Main Street,
the West line of which alley is 89 feet East of the East line
of said Main Street.
Grantor certifies there is no Indiana Gross Tax due at this
