Director, Public Works Reply To: BOARD OF PLIBLIC WORKS December 14, 1973 EXCERPTS OF THE MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS MEETING August 27, 1973 - OPENING OF BIDS - SALE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY 'this was the date set for receiving bids for the Sale of city -owned property at 917 N. Hill Street, 1134 E. Cedar Street and 1230 W. Colfax Avenue. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County tqevis which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and read. 917 N. Hill Street. A bid from Builder's United Enterprises, Inc. Charles Howell, President, in the amount of $1,315.00. 1134 E. Cedar. A bid from Builder's United Enterprises, Inc., Charles Howell, President, in the amount of $1,515.00. Both bids were more than the offering price for the properties. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board accepted the bids and directed that the Legal Department be notified to prepare the deeds for completion of the transaction,
